WARNING: RANT (CONTAINING SPOILERS) ABOUT TWD SEASON FINALE
I’M SORRY PEOPLE, BUT I’M GONNA RANT AGAIN. I JUST CAN’T GET OVER ANDREA’S DEATH.
She was BY NO MEANS my favorite character. I don’t even think she was CLOSE. She pissed me off more than half the time, BUT SHE FUCKING TRIED. She tried so hard to help everybody, she didn’t want anyone - even that asshole, Phillip - to die, and that’s what killed her (and arguably, others, too). And then the fact that even though Milton (technically?) was the one to kill her, it was because of Phillip.
I think it bothers me so much because evil kind of triumphed in this one. I mean, I like that every episode doesn’t have to have a happy ending (who am I kidding? So few have one), because it would be boring if that were the case. However, Phillip is like the evilest evil to ever fucking evil. And I want him dead. I need him dead.
Andrea gave herself to him completely, she trusted him, she cared for him, and once she discovered how evil he truly was, she still couldn’t kill him. She just didn’t want anybody else to die. And despite all that, despite EVERYTHING she’d done for him, he had no problem - no fucking problem - with murdering her.
She made so many mistakes, but she had a good heart, and the best intentions in everything she did. And I just can’t take that Andrea died from Phillip after all that she’d done for him. It’s just so wrong. It feels so wrong.
